Nine Elms
Nine Elms, SW8
Our site at Nine Elms sits above the Nine Elms Underground station that is being delivered as part of the Northern Line Extension. In recent years, Nine Elms has seen huge growth in size and scale; major developments have started and finished, and the US Embassy has not long opened, which has all resulted in a vivacious and attractive area for people to work and live.

Our Public Consultation
TimelineMursell Community Hall, 11 & 12 October 2019

ONLINE POLLS
TimelineWe hosted a ‘Public Exhibition’ in October 2019 and ensured people knew about it by sending over 4,000 invites to those in close proximity to the site and visited over 100 homes during a door knocking exercise. We also notified people who frequently used the local transport services, such as Vauxhall and Stockwell Underground stations.
You can find the information we shared with the local community here. -
Scheme evolution
TimelineFollowing our engagement with local residents, community groups, local councillors and online polls, we collated and reviewed the feedback received. Between November 2019 and January 2020, we considered how we could respond to the comments; as a result, more of our homes will benefit from private balconies, while we also increased the amount of resident amenity space.

Planning Committee
In April, Lambeth Council’s Planning Committee gave our proposals for 479 well-designed, quality homes at Nine Elms the green light.
At Nine Elms we have focused on creating a new public square that future and existing residents can enjoy; we have designed it to be accessible, and for all generations.
Sustainable Development
At CLL, sustainable means more than the environment. It’s also about delivering for the local economy, and about designing a scheme with and for the existing community and about improving their quality of life. At Nine Elms, our commitment to the economic, environmental and social means we can maximise the positive impacts developing the site will have, such as enhanced greening and public space for the local community to enjoy.

At Nine Elms, we’re proposing a variety of internal and external shared amenity spaces for our residents, including a roof terrace, gym, and workspace. All Connected Living London residents will be able to access the shared resident amenity space at our developments; for example, if you live at Nine Elms but an appointment takes you to Enfield, you could work at our Arnos Grove development
